Description
UPS emergency power supply
The inverter can function as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in combination with Extralink 12V batteries. In the event of a power cut, UPS mode provides uninterrupted power supply. The inverter charges the batteries so that they are ready to operate in emergency situations when mains power is available. The inverter provides fast switching and uninterrupted power, switching to battery power when mains power is interrupted. UPS mode is a great way to power important devices such as servers, routers and security systems that need uninterrupted power to function properly. You can rest assured that your important devices will always have power, even during extended power cuts, thanks to the UPS mode of our inverter and Extralink 12V batteries.
Extralink Lightning inverter with pure sine wave
The Extralink Lightning inverter with its pure sinusoidal waveform meets all energy requirements for power supply. In the event of a power cut, our inverter quickly switches from mains power to battery power. The Extralink Lightning also has multiple layers of protection to ensure safe and reliable operation. This includes protection against overload, overvoltage, short circuit and over temperature. The Extralink inverter and Extralink batteries create a stable UPS backup power system.
LiFePO4 Extralink battery
Compared to traditional battery-based solutions made with other technologies, Extralink LiFePO4 lithium-iron-phosphate batteries have many advantages: longer life, no maintenance, exceptional safety, lightweight, better discharge and charging efficiency. No active maintenance is required to extend the life of Extralink LiFePO4 batteries. In addition, these batteries show no memory effect and can be stored for longer periods due to their low self-discharge rate (less than 3% per month).
Key features of Extralink Lightning
- Very wide range of mains input voltage
- Stable output voltage (pure sine wave output), can be used for all electrical devices
- LCD display with plenty of information
- CPU control
- Short switching times, high performance
- Intelligent battery management for extended battery life
- Protection against overload, short circuit, over temperature
Pure sinusoidal waveform
The ability to produce a pure sine wave at the inverter's output is one of its most important features. This means that the quality and stability of the alternating current produced by the inverter is the same as that supplied by the power grid. A pure sine wave is essential for powering sensitive electronic devices such as laptops, fridges, televisions and the most sensitive equipment such as cookers, CO pumps and medical equipment that is susceptible to damage from inconsistent or unstable power supply. You can rest assured that your electronic devices run smoothly and efficiently, without risk of damage, thanks to the pure sinusoidal output of our inverter.
LiFePO4 type battery with a high number of cycles
LiFePO4 batteries retain an average of 80% of their nominal capacity and last for more than 2,000 cycles. The ability to discharge LiFePO4 batteries to a lower level does not affect their performance or service life, allowing them to be fully utilised, increasing their available capacity. Extralink LiFePO4 can maintain high performance even under extreme temperature conditions, as they have high heat resistance and can operate over a wider temperature range.
The kit is suitable for powering various devices such as:
- Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to protect vital systems in the event of mains failure
- Emergency back-up power supply to keep essential systems running in crisis situations
- Emergency lighting that provides comfort and safety in public or private areas in the absence of normal lighting
- Rail and air signals to help control train and aircraft movements and prevent collisions and accidents
- An alarm and security system that protects against burglary, fire, flooding or other threats.
- Apparatus and electronic equipment that requires a stable and clean power supply, such as computers, televisions, cameras or medical equipment
- A communications power supply that enables communication to be maintained via telephone, radio, internet or satellite TV
- DC power supply for devices that run on batteries or rechargeable batteries, such as torches, toys and power tools
- Automatic control system that controls the operation of industrial or domestic machinery and equipment
