Description
Patchpanel Extralink 24 ports cat. 6 UTP 0.5U
The patchpanel is one of the basic components used in the construction of structured cabling. It is mounted in the rails of a 19″ rack. The same screws are used for assembly as for active devices. The purpose of the patchpanel is to terminate cables going into the distribution cabinet.
The RJ45 cat 6 UTP ports of the patchpanel are connected to the active device using patchcords of the appropriate category and design to maintain the appropriate connection standard. A unique feature is the height that the patchpanel occupies in the enclosure - it is only 0.5U, which means that two such patchpanels can be mounted in one mounting unit and thus have 48 ports in 1U. The cable is connected to the patchpanel by means of a Krone-compatible cable clamp.
