Network cable most commonly used for local area networks, includes applications Fast Ethernet (100Mb/s) as well as Gigabit Ethernet (1000 MB/s). It is constructed of 4 pairs of cables twisted together to eliminate electromagnetic and mutual interference. The cables are made of pure copper 24 AWG thick and are surrounded by powłoką PE, średnica każdego przewodu z izolacją to 0,9mm. Płaszcz zewnętrzny wykonany z PVC 0.5mm thick.
