FTP network cable Cat. 5e (outdoor twisted pair) is most commonly used for the construction of local area networks and covers Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps speed) as well as Gigabit Ethernet (1000 MB/s) applications. This high quality Cat 5e twisted pair cable is constructed from 4 pairs of cables twisted together, which eliminates cross interference and electromagnetic interference. Made from 24 AWG pure copper, the conductors are surrounded by a PE sheath and the diameter of each conductor including insulation is 0.97 mm. The aluminium foil shielded installation cable also has an additional earth conductor. The twisted pair cable is often used in CCTV installations, where one cable can transmit both the video signal from several cameras and power. The package contains 305 metres of the product.
