Extralink 8 port poe injector supports 10/100/1000M Ethernet throughput, the LAN RJ45 connectors for "Switch/PC/HUB" pins 1/2 & 3/6 & 4/5 &7/8 transmit data. The POE RJ45(power+data) connectors provide data and PoE power simultaneously. Pins 1/2 & 3/6 & 4/5 & 7/8 for data, Pins 4/5(+) & 7/8(-) for power. The unit consists of 8 sets of RJ45 sockets and one power socket up to 60V DC. The power input is 5.5mm in diameter. The total output power must be less than the maximum input power of the AC-DC power supply. If this is not the case, consider using a stronger AC-DC power supply. Here is the recommended power formula for an AC-DC power supply: 10 W per RJ45 set (1 set = 2 x RJ45 sockets). For example, 8 x 10 W = 80 W for a PoE panel with 8 ports.
