The poe injector and splitter set is the ideal solution for supplying power to a device which does not support either the IEEE 8023af or passive poe power standards, but which, due to its location, needs to be powered over a twisted-pair cable. In addition to the power supply, simultaneous network communication at 100Mbps is also possible.

The set consists of an injector, which injects voltage into the Ethernet cable, and a splitter, which feeds voltage into the jack connector. The maximum voltage that can be used at the input is 48V DC. The power injector can be used to connect IP cameras that do not support power over Ethernet or wireless lan access points to an ip surveillance system. Using a set of poe injector and splitter, nonpoe switches can be used.
