Smart water sensor with ZigBee support
The Extralink Water Sensor is smart water sensorwhich detects flooding or water leakage based on the conductive state between the metal probes. The sensor connects to a multifunctional gateway Extralink Smart Gateway using the ZigBee protocol and allows the creation of smart home scenes. The sensor can be easily paired with the Extralink gateway from the Tuya application. The sensor has low energy consumption and a long battery life.

Detection of flooding or water leakage
The Extralink flood sensor uses the conductive state between the metal probes to detect the presence of water on the surface where it is placed. When the sensor detects flooding or a water leak, it sends a signal to the Extralink multifunction gateway, which can trigger other smart devices.
Communication with Extralink multifunction gateway via ZigBee
Extralink Smart Life Water Sensor connects to the multifunctional gateway Extralink Smart Gateway using the ZigBee protocol, which is safe, reliable and compatible with other smart devices. ZigBee is a low-power wireless communication protocol commonly used in the communication of smart home devices.
Phone notifications and alerts
The flood sensor allows receiving notifications and alerts on your phonewhen it detects flooding or water leakage. To use this function, connect the sensor to the multifunction gateway Extralink Smart Gateway via the Tuya app and allow to receive push notifications. When the sensor sends a signal to the multifunction gateway, the Tuya app will send a notification to your phone.
Innovative double-sided design
The flooding sensor has an innovative two-sided design - the downward-facing probe can monitor flooding, the upward-facing probe can monitor rain and water leakage. The sensor can also be attached to the wall to detect water levels.

The IP66 ingress protection rating of the Extralink flood sensor housing allows trouble-free operation in dusty and humid environments.
