Extralink SFP 1.25G optical transceivers are high-performance, cost-effective, single-mode fibre SFP modules supporting data rates of 1.25Gbps/1.0625Gbps and transmission range 20km with SMF. They are designed for fibre optic transmission using single-mode fibre. Extralink SFP 1.25G operates on AC wavelengths Tx=1310nm and Rx=1550nm. The 1.25G SFP optical module consists of three sections: an FP laser emitter, a PIN photodiode integrated with a trans-impedance preamplifier (TIA) and an MCU control unit. All single-mode SFP inserts comply with Class I laser safety requirements.

SFP 1.25G optical modules are used for: Gigabit Ethernet, fibre channels, Switch to Switch interfaces, switched backplane applications, router/server interfaces and other optical transmission systems.
