Extralink SFP RJ45 with a capacity of 1000Mbps is a high-performance, cost-effective module that complies with the Gigabit Ethernet and 1000-BASE-T standards as defined in IEEE 802. 3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab. The SFP RJ45 insert supports a data rate of 1000 Mbps at a distance of up to 100 metres for cable Ethernet category 5. The SFP RJ45 module supports full duplex data links of 1000Mbps with 5-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM). All four pairs in the cable are used at a symbolic rate of 250Mbps per pair. The Extralink SFP RJ45 provides standard serial identifier information compatible with the SFP MSA, which can be accessed with address A0h via the CMOS EEPROM 2-wire serial protocol. The physical IC can also be accessed via the 2-wire serial bus at address A0h. The SFP RJ45 insert is compatible with most gigabit SFP ports found in network equipment. The SFP Ethernet module has an all-metal housing for low EMI. The insert is dedicated to devices HP/Aruba.
