Description
Extralink 48V 48W PoE power supply
A power supply designed to supply power via selected strands of twisted-pair cable to network devices such as APs, cameras, etc. This solution makes it possible to transmit network data while supplying power in the same cable.
The power supply has a 1.2 metre long power cable terminated with a typical C14 type computer connector, and has two RJ45 ports. One port is used to connect the device to be powered and the other is used to connect the patchcord to a switch or router.
An LED indicates correct operation of the device. In the event of tripping one of the protections: short circuit, overload, the power supply cuts off the voltage from the device. After the failure has ceased, the voltage is restored automatically.
