OLT EPON 4GE LITE - the perfect OLT for FTTx applications
The Extralink OLT E04-2 is a GEPON OLT (Optical Line Terminal) specifically designed. for FTTx Point to Multipoint (PtMP) applications. The FHL104C is equipped with GEPON ports, gigabit SFP uplink interfaces and one management port. The 1U high chassis allows for easy installation in a rack. Easy to manage, it simplifies the installation and maintenance of a gigabit fibre network. When used in conjunction with a GEPON ONT(Optical Network Terminal ), the Extralink OLT E04-2 provides a highly efficient GEPON solution for broadband networks. By integrating advanced technology in the telecommunications industry, the OLT provides useful Ethernet functionalities such as VLAN, Multicast, DBA (Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation) and Access Control List.

A cost-effective network connection solution
With its high split ratio (1:64) and 2 PON ports, the Extralink OLT E04-2 allows the deployment of a up to 64*4 ONTwhich minimises investment costs. Thanks to its multipoint communication protocol based on Gigabit Ethernet, GEPON enables sharing of gigabit communication fibre by multiple end users using a passive optical splitter. Therefore, the Extralink OLT E04-2 offers network users the benefits of high bandwidth, excellent discreteness, grouping flexibility and savings in line resources as well as in the amount of terminal equipment.
Robust management of ONUs
The Extralink OLT E04-2 supports a number of operational and monitoring features for efficient ONU management, including automatic ONU discovery, auto-registration, link testing, MAC address binding and filtering, QoS, bandwidth control, flow control and multicast stream control. The gigabit SFP uplink interfaces on the Extralink OLT E04-2 are compatible with fibre modules WDM SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable) and 1000Base-SX/LX.
