Single-mode patchcord with a length of 1mcable diameter 3mm, terminated with connectors LC/UPC-SC/APC is used for networking of optical network equipment such as switches and converters. It incorporates bidirectional transmission (Duplex). G.657A1 fibre has increased mechanical resistance. It is also widely used in networks FTTH for connecting devices of the type OLT and ONU/ONT.
