Description
UTP network cable Cat. 5e
UTP network cable Cat. 5e is most commonly used for local area networks and includes Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps speed) as well as Gigabit Ethernet (1000 MB/s). It is constructed with 4 pairs of cables twisted together to eliminate cross interference and electromagnetic interference. Made of pure copper with a thickness of 24 AWG, the wires are surrounded by a PE sheath and the diameter of each wire including the insulation is 0.9 mm. The outer jacket is realised in 0.5 mm thick PVC. The package contains 100 metres of product.
Key features
- UTP cable Cat. 5e
- Length 100 m
- PE coating
- Outer sheath - 0.5 mm thick PVC
Resistant PVC outer shell
PVC outer shell is made of polyvinyl chloride, a synthetic polymer with thermoplastic properties that is highly resistant to mechanical damage. The packaging contains a self-retracting reel that guarantees convenient unwinding of the cable without the risk of entanglement.
Extralink twisted pair cable for indoor applications
Extralink CAT 5E UTP (U/UTP) V2 cable is designed for indoor use and is ideal for building networks in offices. UTP is often used in CCTV installations, where one cable can transmit the video signal from several cameras and power.
