Description
Extralink modular patchpanel 24 ports
The patchpanel is one of the basic components used in the construction of structured cabling. It is mounted in the rails of a 19″ rack. The same screws are used for assembly as for active devices. The purpose of the patchpanel is to terminate cables going into the distribution cabinet.
The RJ45 ports of the patchpanel are connected to the active device using patchcords of the appropriate category and design to maintain the appropriate connection standard. Its unique feature is its modularity - keystones in the category and shielding as required are fitted to each mounting hole. It is also possible to cover only a few mounting holes with keystones, so as to optimise costs to suit needs.
