Description
Fibre optic splicers are used in FTTH networks, in which the internet is delivered to customers via a fibre optic cable from the server room to the customer device without changing the transmission medium. The nature of this technology requires that the signal is distributed to customers without the use of additional active devices.

FWDM (Filter-based WDM) splicers are built using TFF (Thin Film Filter) technology. They are characterised by high inter-wave isolation, high temperature stability and low attenuation.
