Extralink Victor-24V Managed PoE Switch with Gigabit Ethernet ports
VICTOR-24V is an 8-port Gigabit managed Switch. This switch provides high performance, features QoS at the enterprise level, advanced security strategies and rich management functions in the L2 layer. In addition, the switch is equipped with 2-gigabit SFP slotswhich allows a flexible expansion of the network. VICTOR 24V is a cost-effective network solution for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Power over Ethernet
The switch offers power supply PoE with 24V on eight RJ45 ports with 1000Mbps throughput. Total PoE power budget is 120W. It can power devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points that are compatible with the power supply method Passive PoE (24V).
Wide range of possibilities
The VICTOR-24V has many security and management functions. Features IP-MAC-Port-VID Binding and Access Control List (ACL) protect against horn storms, ARP and Denial-of-Service (DoS) attacks. Function Quality of Service (QoS, L2 to L4) provides enhanced traffic management capabilities. QoS restricts access to sensitive network resources by blocking packets based on source and destination MAC address, IP address, TCP/UDP ports and even VLAN ID. The device can be managed using the easy-to-use a management interface as well as a CLI console.
A large number of Tier 2 functions
To increase the applicability of Layer 2 switches, the VICTOR-24V supports a complete range of Layer 2 functions, including tags 802.1Q VLAN, port isolation, port mirroring, STP/RSTP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol and 802.3x flow control function. What's more, the switch provides advanced network maintenance features such as Loopback detection, cable diagnostics and IGMP Snooping. IGMP snooping ensures that the switch only forwards the multicast stream to the appropriate recipients, while IGMP throttling & filtering restricts each subscriber at the port level to prevent unauthorised multicast access.
